Sour South is licensed cottage bakery in Rabun County, Georgia. I am not currently selling bread as I pivot into a more educational role. I am excited to be leading some local bread-making workshops soon!

I am passionate about making naturally leavened sourdough bread with regionally grown and produced grains.

I remain focused on supporting our local grain economy in Georgia and North Carolina by exclusively using organic flours and grains from Dayspring Farms (Danielsville, GA), Lindley Mills (Graham, NC), and Carolina Ground (Hendersonville, NC).

Iā€™m excited to teach the joy and simplicity of home baking to anyone in our area wanting to learn. As classes are scheduled, I will announce them on this website. Thanks so much for your interest!
